Description
Seated Quan Yin (also refferred to as Kuan-yin and Guanyin) seated on a lotus throne in the traditional meditation pose with upturned hands in the dhyana mudra. Barbed in flowing robes with swept up hair underneath a crown. This figure, of handcarved hard wood, dates from the Ming dynasty (1368 AD - 1643 AD), orginates from China and measures 60" tall x 27" wide x 19" deep. Wear is consisitent ot its age.
