Description

Tami Island ( a small island at the eastern end of the Huon Gulf, Morobe province) feast bowl, (used in the preparation and serving of "parong", tapioca dish). Intricately hand carved and incised from Black Palm tree, Papua, New Guinea. Vintage. Measures 28.5" long x 13" wide x 9" deep.
