Award-winning ceramicist Ken Pick has been making functional, decorative and sculptural pottery for over 45 years in New England. Producing his high-fired ceramics in an old Vermont tobacco barn, Pick's work is both Abstract and Mid-Century Modern. He's renowned for his bold glazes that are designed to contrast the earth-tones of the unglazed clay. This original piece has no imperfections and is in excellent condition. Incised signature on the back by the artist. Fired in his Putney,Vermont studio in the 1980s, it measures an unusually large 32" in diameter and is 4.5" deep.
