Description
This excavated Khmer cooking vessel is from the Bayon Period in what is now Cambodia, 12th-13th century. Prasat Bayon temple was built in the 12th century at Angkor by King Jayavaraman VII, whose face is said to be the model for the smiling, serene faces carved into the towers of the Buddhist temple.
