Carved marble cobblestone road / street water drain was excavated from the ancient Greek / Roman city of Ephesus, Anatolia, located in the Izmir province of Turkey. This five holed square pan water and sewage collecting unit dates from the Byzantine era (395 - 1107 AD) and measures an uneven 14" square x 3" deep. Marble Roman drain with five holes and square pan.
