Custom design torch burned finish Bontoc pine five plank top wood dining table with intricately hand detailed binali (rattan) weave edge detail. Each of five sections is attached by drilling a myriad of holes and finely weaving each section together with rattan (binali) lengths. This is an extremely long and tedious method used traditionally by the local Ifugao tribes people inhabiting the northern Luzon island region of the Banaue rice terraces. I commishioned this one of a kind dining table to be made in the late 1900's in Baguio City, Philippines. It measures 109 inches long by 50 inches wide and stands 30 high. Seats twelve diners very comfortably and can squeeze up to 14.
