Hand carved carabao (water buffalo) bone lime container with stylized 'bulul' (bulol) rice deity figure motif and finely woven rattan detail. A bulul (bulol) is a carved wooden figure used to guard the rice terrace crops by the Igorot peoples. The container is used to store powdery slaked lime associated with Betel nut chewing.
